MARIPOSA COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

INVITATION FOR BID

Annual Roadside Weed Abatement Services (Chemical Spray Only)

Mariposa County is requesting bids from qualified, licensed contractors to provide annual weed abatement services along County-maintained roads. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is for chemical spray weed abatement services only.

The goal of this program is to control vegetation growth along County roads to improve roadway safety, maintain visibility, prevent fire hazards, and protect County infrastructure.

This is a Prevailing Wage project and requires registration with Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) prior to the bid opening. In addition, certified payroll is required, and is to be submitted prior to final payment. There is no DBE goal required for this project.
