    PROPOSED TURN LANES & SIGNAL
    The North Carolina Department of Transportation is requesting bids for grading,
    drainage, paving, signal and erosion control type work in Iredell County. The
    Contractor is to furnish labor, material, equipment and traffic control:
    CONTRACT TIME:
    The availability date for this contract will be February 3, 2026.
    The completion date for this contract will be April 30, 2027.
    PROPOSAL COPIES:

    BID OPENING:
    Sealed bids must be received in the Division Engineer's Office, located at 1710 E.
    Marion Street, Shelby, N.C. 28152, by 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. Bids
    must be submitted electronically through the approved electronic bidding provider as
    detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Paper bids will not be accepted for this project.

    Potential Bidders must be prequalified as Bidder or P.O. Prime Contractor at the time of
    bid opening in order to be considered responsible. Information about prequalification can

    Only Electronic Bidding will be accepted for this project. Please refer to the sheets
    entitled Instructions to Bidders contained in the Proposal. A Bid Bond is Required.
    Any addenda to this contract will be posted on the Division 12 Bid Page located at
    https://connect.ncdot.gov/letting/Pages/Division12Letting.aspx. It is the Contractor's
    responsibility to keep themselves informed of any changes that may occur.
    The North Carolina Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title
    VI of the Civil Rights of 1964 (78 Stat.252) and the Regulations of the Department of
    Transportation (49 C.F.R., Part 21), issued pursuant to such act, hereby notifies all bidders
    that it will affirmatively insure that the contract entered into pursuant to this notice will be
    awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of sex, race,
    color, or national origin.
