Intent to solicit from a single source - CEPHEID Analyzers

The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Crownpoint Healthcare Facility located in Crownpoint, New Mexico, intends to negotiate a one-time, sole source, firm-fixed-price award to Cepheid, 904 Caribbean DR, Sunnyvale, California, 97089-1189 for two (2) ea. CEPHEID Gene Xpert IV-4 Site System Analyzers with printers.

The award will be a sole source procurement awarded to CEPHEID in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), (exclusive licensing), for purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold (SAT), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.

This notice is not a solicitation or a request for offers. Any potential sources other than CEPHEID may submit a capability statement via electronic mail to Marshall Arviso, Contract Specialist, at marshall.arviso@ihs.gov by 3:00 PM MT on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.

Respondents are advised that the Government is under no obligation to acknowledge receipt of the information received or provide feedback to respondents with respect to any information submitted. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A solicitation will not be issued.
