DESCRIPTION: NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT TO Delmar Enterprises, Inc. of Louis Drive, Warminster, PA for its electronic gun lockers for the VA Hudson Valley Healthcare System, Montrose Campus.

Requirement: The Montrose VA Medical Center in Montrose, New York is currently seeking to award a sole source contract to Delmar Enterprises, Inc. for their electronic gun lockers to secure and store handguns and long guns. This is a sole source award to Delmar Enterprises, Inc.

Contractor is required to Onsite Start-up SAM & Software Training.

Contractor shall test the functionality of the equipment delivering and installing the electronic gun lockers. The test should ensure equipment is functioning properly.

This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) (1)(ii), Soliciting from a Single Source. The NAICS code utilized for this procurement is 337215, Showcase, Partition, Shelving and Locker Manufacturing with a Size Standard of 500 Employees.

This Notice of Intent is not a request for Proposals or Quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone or email inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and should furnish detailed data concerning their capabilities to provide services sought including pricing data and technical data sufficient enough to determine that a comparable source to the government is available. The government may consider all Expressions of Interest received prior to May 2nd, 2025. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
