Intent to Sole Source - HDT Thor 200 Replacement Parts

TITLE: F3T2EM5182AG01, Sole Source Acquisition for HDT THOR 200HP REPLACMENT PARTS

The 4th Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source purchase order to HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc. Required items to be purchased are:

Low Pressure Switch (Part # 011-00101-S), Serpentine Belt (Part # H015712), Programmed AC Drive (Part # H008431-S), Alternator (Part # H006607-1-SV), Programmed Ohio CAT Controller Generator (Part # H005597-SV), Transducer Combination (Part # 015-00140-S), Electr Trip Breaker (Part # H013024), Silicone Hose (Part # H013267-4), Temperature Gauge (Part # 020-00041), 24V Alternator (Part # 3004960-001), Alternator (Part # H006607-1-SV), Low Pressure Switch (Part # 011-00101-S), Serpentine Belt (Part # H015712), Programmed Ohio CAT Controller Generator (Part # H005597-S), Programmed AC Drive (Part # H008431-S), Eaton Breaker Handle (Part # H006936), Nema Overload Relay Eaton (Part # H007621), 180 Deg. Thermostat (Part # H018946), Water Pump (Part # H018947), 3 Phase Soft Starter (Part # H006829).

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY:

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc is the sole source. Technical Order 35E9-332-1 for the Thor 200-HP indicates the parts that are required for this equipment. The mentioned above part numbers directs the Government to the brand name HDT Global products. HDT Global is the inventor and patent owner of the (THOR 200 HP) and expeditionary solution product offerings. Specifically, limited technical data rights exist with respect to these products.

Only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The closing date for this synopsis is 16 July 2025 at 2:00 P.M EST. The anticipated award date is unknown.
