Intent to Sole Source - FY26 LeMay Maglocks

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE to Alabama Controls Inc. to provide Maxwell AFB’s LeMay Center with removal and replacement of the current building security system in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Objectives (SOO).

Brief Description of Requirement: The contractor shall supply and install all required components (see SOO) at Maxwell AFB, AL.

Place of Performance: Maxwell AFB, AL.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335999, All Other Miscellaneous Electrical Equipment and Component Manufacturing

There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

To be eligible to receive an award resulting from this RFQ, contractors MUST BE REGISTERED and ACTIVE in the DoD Systems for Award Management (SAM) database at time of quotation submission, no exceptions.
