Acquisition Description:

The Department of Perioperative Medicine is requesting the purchase of an ERBE electrosurgical system from Proaim. It is used to cut, coagulate and ablate tissue with high precision using a high frequency electrical current. It will be used for gastroenterology surgery to minimize tissue damage. The ERBE being requested uses argon plasma coagulation which is a non-contact method to stop bleeding and destroy superficial tissue while reducing the risk of perforation.

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
