Description

Adding 10,000-pound force (lbf.) dynamic impact load cell accessory option to the base versatile drop tower as described below:



A 10,000lbf. dynamic load cell, with a calibration range over the 10,000lbf range shall be needed for lower energy drop tower impact testing. This load cell will affix to the cross head of the MP Machinery High Energy Impact Drop tower detailed in contract order W911QX24P0165. This load cell will connect to the digital connector of MP Machinery High Energy Impact Tower and be read by the system’s software. The loadcell shall have internal threads to accommodate a ¾ inch-10 pitch, 1 ½ inch long impact striker adapter.
