Basic Horsemanship Course
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personnel services necessary to perform basic riding instruction for the Caisson Detachment as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). Contractor shall provide a weekly training summary and a daily sign in roster At the end of the week, contractor shall provide the above feedback to the Caisson senior instructor and a refined timeline of the hour by hour of the tasks trained during the week. Contractor shall provide sufficient instructors to meet a 3:1 student-to-instructor ratio, with at least one being the head instructor. The head instructor shall communicate daily the planned instruction and execution with the Caisson Liaison and Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The contractor shall be required to transport its horses and all necessary equipment if the vendor wants to conduct training at an alternate site the contractor shall provide basic riding instruction to meet the needs of the Caisson Detachment. The contractor shall provide instruction in accordance with the provided curriculum (BHC Point of Instruction) as provided by the Caisson Detachment to Caisson Soldiers to meet the needs of the Caisson Detachment.
