Title: Intent to Sole Source: Amadeus - ACUS Passenger Processing
Addenda: 0
Release Date: 12/31/2024
Due Date: 1/6/2025
The ACUS (Cloud-Based) Passenger Processing System is scheduled to replace the existing EASE (On-Premises) system. The new system must integrate with DAR, AODB, ESB, FIDS, and the Amadeus support portal. Additionally, a Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be required for all integrated products.
While the intent is to procure this solution from a single source, Amadeus Airport IT Americas, Inc., we invite any vendors or firms that offer a product capable of meeting these integration requirements to submit their expressions of interest. If you believe your solution aligns with the outlined scope, please send your interest by January 6, 2025 @ 2:00 p.m. EST to Procurement@osaa.net or phone: 407-267-5782.
All responses will be reviewed to ensure compatibility with the specified system requirements.
The Sanford Airport Authority (SAA), established in 1971 by the Florida Legislature, manages the Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) and its facilities. The airport’s history dates back to the early 20th century when it operated as a public airport before being transferred to the U.S. Navy in 1942 to serve as Naval Air Station Sanford. After the station was decommissioned in 1946, the airport returned to civilian use, later transitioning fully to civilian operations in 1968.
Under the management of the Sanford Airport Authority since 1971, SFB has grown into a major regional hub, focusing on low-cost carriers and benefiting from its proximity to Orlando's tourism attractions. Since beginning commercial aviation operations in 1999, SFB has steadily expanded, serving nearly 3 million passengers annually.
Transition to ACUS (Cloud-Based) Passenger Processing System
As part of its ongoing modernization efforts, SFB is transitioning from the legacy EASE (On-Premises) passenger processing system to the ACUS (Cloud-Based) system. This shift is aimed at improving system flexibility, scalability, and integration capabilities. The cloud-based ACUS solution will provide enhanced data accessibility, streamline operations, and support future growth. It will also integrate seamlessly with key systems such as DAR, AODB, ESB, FIDS, and the Amadeus support portal, offering a more efficient and real-time processing environment.
This transition reflects the airport’s commitment to leveraging the latest technology to improve operational performance and enhance the passenger experience.
