Intended Single Source Purchase of Mondo Certified Track Supplies and Installation Services

This is a Notice for a Single Source Source designation for Alachua County Board of County Commissioners.

Justification for Single Source Acquisition:

Geo Surfaces is the vendor from which the Mondo World Athletic Tracks at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center was purchased. Geo Surfaces has proprietary knowledge of this indoor track $ field system and the ability to erect it to ensure it meets World Athletics standards. This vendor has been used to erect and disassemble the track since its first delivery and provided supervision on-site when the previous management group self performed this work.

Recommended Procurement Approach:

For the reason stated above, Alachua County Procurement Division intends to utilize the Single Source Procurement method to contract with Geo Surfaces for supplying the above.
