Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Services

The Town of Chapel Hill seeks written proposals from interested pest control firms to provide Integrated Pest Management (IPM) services for its 296 public housing apartments and 16 transitional housing units located in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, North Carolina, in accordance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development requirements. If you are interested in submitting a proposal for the IPM services, please note there will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the Town of Chapel Hill’s Department of Public Housing at 317 Caldwell Street Extension Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27516, on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. A site visit to tour one of the neighborhoods close to the office will take place the same day after the pre-bid conference. Failure to attend the meeting will disqualify submissions.

For questions regarding any of the attached information pertaining to the IPM services and requirements, please contact Julian Gerner, Public Housing Supervisor, at jgerner@townofchapelhill.org no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 16, 2023. All responses to questions received will be emailed to the pre-bid meeting attendees in the form of an addendum by Monday, October 23, 2023.

Proposals are due by 3:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6, 2023. The proposal must be submitted as a pdf file, attached to an e-mail message, and sent to zalam@townofchapelhill.org with the following inserted in the "subject" line of the e-mail: "Proposal— IPM Services RFP." Please note that E-mailed proposals must be received by the specified deadline according to the internal clock of Town of Chapel Hill’s server receiving the proposal. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. Please do not submit paper copies.

The Town of Chapel Hill reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for any reason or no reason and to accept the proposal most favorable to the Town.
