Project Description: SCOPE: It is the intent of these specifications to provide the minimum acceptable criteria for the removal, disposal, and replacement of up to (80) total Insulated Overhead Garage Doors at the designated NFTA garage locations listed below.
Babcock Bus Garage: 721 New Babcock Street, Buffalo, NY14206
Cold Spring Bus Garage: 1581 Michigan Ave, Buffalo, Ny 14209
Frontier Bus Garage: 1000 Military Road, Buffalo, NY 14217
This will be a two (2) year contract. The total number of doors installed will be based on available funding. The total number of doors replaced should only be used for proposal purposes and must not be considered a guarantee.
Subsequent year pricing will be calculated per the percentage change in a Producer Price Index (PPI) or Consumer Price Index nominated by the Proponent.
GOALS: MBE 0%, WBE 0%, SDVOB 0%
PRE-PROPOSAL/SITE INSPECTION: A pre-proposal meeting and site inspection will be held on January 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM EST.
The prospective contractor is required to become familiar with the work covered by this contract prior to submitting a proposal.
