The Town of Townsend ("Town") is soliciting responses from qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of a reinforced concrete slab foundation to support a National Fitness Campaign (NFC) Fitness Court at the Townsend Center, behind Town Hall and the Recreation Center at 5 Jefts Street, Townsend, MA 01469.
The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the concrete slab in accordance with:
* The NFC Fitness Court Concrete Slab Drawings (C-9.0 R2025), and
* All applicable Massachusetts building codes, safety regulations, and accessibility standards.
The total contract amount shall not exceed $30,000. Responses in excess of this amount may be rejected as non-responsive.
The anticipated substantial completion date is:
On or before June 30, 2026 (weather permitting).
