Installation of Concrete at Swanny Park

REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR THE
INSTALLATION OF CONCRETE

The City of Moab is now accepting requests for proposals for installation of concrete at Swanny Park at 400 N. 100 W., Moab, UT 84532. Request for proposal specifications are available on the U3P Portal at: https://purchasing.utah.gov/currentbids and on the City’s website at: www.moabcity.org .

The work includes preparation and installation of ADA accessible concrete sidewalk to park equipment and a concrete pad under shade.

This project is funded in whole or in part by a grant through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program.  The contractor will be required to comply with all federal labor standards and attendant laws, including the payment of the most current Davis-Bacon wages and compliance with Section 3 to provide employment opportunities for lower income persons and small businesses.  Local, minority and woman owned business owners are encouraged to bid.  Additionally, all applicable provisions of Build America, Buy America (BABA) will apply.   The lowest responsible bidder will be selected.

All proposals must be submitted electronically through the U3P Portal or be turned in to the Moab City Recorder’s Offices at 217 East Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532. Moab City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to accept or reject the whole or any part of the proposal; or to waive any informality or technicality in the interest of Moab City.  The Deadline for all requests for proposals is 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025.  Bids will be publicly opened at that time in the administration office of City Center.
