BCNET is issuing Request for Proposals No. 2025003 to establish a Master Agreement with one or more qualified IT Infrastructure Value-Added Resellers (IVARs) to supply infrastructure hardware and associated services to its Members—comprising colleges, universities, and research institutes across British Columbia and Yukon. The agreement will supplement existing OEM contracts and enable Members to procure a broad range of infrastructure products and support services under consistent terms and predictable pricing. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional two-year extensions. The selected Proponent(s) must demonstrate authorized VAR status with at least four core manufacturers and provide responsive regional service, transparent pricing, and a strong commitment to ESG and EDI principles. The RFP includes stringent compliance requirements, performance metrics, and a non-binding, negotiated procurement process aligned with applicable trade agreements and public procurement standards.
