INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGED SERVICES

The City of Bell, California, is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGED SERVICES to create a new website ( www.cityofbell.org ) that is modern, highly attractive and built with responsive web design. In addition, the selected vendor will be responsible for enhancing online capabilities. The City desires to enter into an Agreement for three (3) years .

The City of Bell is located in southeast Los Angeles County, California, encompassing 2.6 square miles with a population of approximately 35,000. Bell is a Charter City and operates under the Council-Manager form of government with eight departments, and 93 full-time and 90 part-time employees. Information technology services are currently being managed by the City Manager’s Office. They provide support services citywide.

The City’s IT Division provides end-user help desk support, security system administration, network administration, security system administration, applications support, database administration, specific project development and implementation. The Fiscal Year 2024-2025 operating budget for the IT division is $549,747. Our IT Department currently works 40 hours per week.
