Scope of Services
The District is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified proposers to provide Information Technology Maintenance Services as described herein. The scope of work outlined in this RFP establishes the minimum Information Technology Maintenance Services requirements to be provided by the successful bidder(s). The District employs approximately 200 staff members and operates one PK-12 consolidated school facility and one alternative school, a district office, a transportation facility, and a maintenance facility. Planned future expansion may include additional classroom buildings, a new transportation facility, and a new district office. The District does not maintain in-house information technology staff and therefore contracts for Information Technology services. The contract is administered by the District’s Human Resources Officer. The budget for this contract has not yet been established. This agreement represents the District’s exclusive expenditure for Information Technology (IT) services; therefore, the District will not incur any additional IT-related costs under this arrangement. The District’s current technology environment includes approximately 24 network switches, six servers, firewalls, more than 2,000 endpoint devices, more than 40 printers, and more than 150 telephone devices. This contract is not remote and requires on-site presence at the District’s primary PK–12 campus in accordance with the District’s 12-month workday schedule. In addition, the contractor shall provide on-site support for high school graduation and other District events that may occur outside of regular business hours.
