Bid Synopsis:

The Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (the District) is soliciting proposals from Proposers capable of satisfying the needs for consulting services to address the District’s needs related to IT Team Augmentation. The selected vendor will serve as an extension of the District team, be a consultative partner to the District Technology Manager, and provide operational support for hardware, system administration, network administration, audio visual (AV) equipment, packaged software, and custom software.  In addition, this provider is expected to provide additional capacity to help the IT team deliver new technology solutions.  The scope will be established in separate statements of work (SOWs).

Initial anticipated SOWs include:

  1. Operational Support inclusive of:
    • Resources to cover level 1 and level 2 support for the following:
      • First point of contact for critical issues and outages
    • Support for Office 365, commercial and custom applications
    • Onboarding and o ffboarding Dis t rict resources, including hardware delivery, and account creation across Active Directory and multiple systems that do not support SSO
    • Laptop, desktop imaging and delivery (new PC builds)
    • AV support (typically ensuring cables connected and correct input source)
    • Ordering and delivering toner to printer locations and working with print provider to facilitate printer repair
    • Problem management for impactful incidents
    • Thought leadership in reducing or eliminating this demand (i.e. self-service or automation)
  2. Staff augmentation as backfill to enable ERP delivery inclusive of:
    • Creation of reports
    • Enhancements or improvements to custom applications
    • Business analysts for project intake and scoping
  3. Additional resources to support large scale projects such as:
  • ERP implementation – creation of web services, data extract work to enable migration

The selected vendor will be expected to Integrate with the District’s IT team leveraging the IT team’s operations and agile delivery practices.

The District understands that proposers may have questions that cannot be answered by the information contained within this RFP.  Proposers should submit those questions, to QuestCDN by 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 30th, 2025.  Questions and Answers will be posted by Friday, May 2, 2025.
