Informal Request for Proposals (IRFP) 10-007-25 Anchor River SRA and Stariski Creek SRS Concessionaire

PURPOSE: The Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Parks and Outdoor Recreation, is soliciting proposals for a qualified entity to obtain a concession contract to operate and manage the Anchor River State Recreation Area and Stariski Creek State Recreation Site. The Anchor River State Recreation Area and Stariski Creek State Recreation Site are both located near Anchor Point, Alaska.

PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

In order for offers to be considered responsive offerors must meet these prior experience and minimum requirements:

  • Offeror must have previous experience operating campgrounds or similar outdoor recreation facilities whether public or private.
  • Offeror must have demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Alaska State Park campgrounds.
  • Offeror must have demonstrated capacity (financial and staff capacity) to operate at a remote location.
Offerors meeting these prior experience and minimum requirements must check the box on Attachment 2 Application Form.

Offerors must detail in their proposal how they meet the prior experience and minimum requirements above. Offerors that fail to identify in their proposals how they meet the prior experience, and minimum requirements will be deemed non-responsive.

DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS: Proposals must be received no later than 2:00 PM Alaska Time on March 10, 2025.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you received this solicitation from the State's Online Public Notices website, you must register with the Procurement Specialist listed to receive subsequent amendments. Registration must be in writing and may be made via email to tamra.czerny@alaska.gov . Failure to register with the Procurement Specialist listed may result in the rejection of your proposal.
