IndyGo Real Time Solar Signs Project

Project Description: IndyGo is seeking product specifications, capability and general pricing information from vendors for real-time bus arrival solar-powered transit signs. IndyGo will accept products that can provide real-time bus arrival information to the public in a clear, unobtrusive manner. Generally, the sign solution should be able to consume Swiftly and Avail data and display real-time bus arrival information in .html format in web browser. IndyGo is especially interested in applications with off-grid power solutions including, but not limited to, renewable energy solutions that incorporate the use of built-in power storage that allows signage to stay active when the sun is down, at night, or on a cloudy day.
The goal of this RFI is to identify fully developed, proven technology and to confirm its compatibility with existing systems through the use of a temporary, 30 to 60 day proof-of-concept (POC) demonstration.
Respondents may elect to submit only information. Not all vendors that respond to this RFI may be asked to proceed with a demonstration. Proof of concept demonstrations will only be carried out with vendors who respond to this RFI.
