INDUSTRY DAY- LOWELL CREEK FLOOD DIVERSION AT SEWARD, ALASKA

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY TO ANNOUNCE AN INDUSTRY DAY FOR W911KB26RA003 AS FOLLOWS:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Alaska District, will conduct an Industry Day to improve Industry's understanding of USACE's DESIGN-BID-BUILD, Lowell Creek Flood Diversion project located in Seward, Alaska, answer questions on the project and gain an understanding of how the contractor community can support this project.

REQUIREMENT:

Lowell Creek Flood Diversion System

• Construction of the inlet diversion structure.


• Construction of an 18ft diameter, 2,000ft long tunnel.


• Construction of an outlet flume.


• Refurbishment of existing tunnel


• Select tree removal of 48” at breast height upstream of the inlet diversion structure.


• Contract award anticipated for 1Q FY27.

Feedback from the Industry Day participants on the following areas is requested:

• Feedback on construction schedule and sequencing.


• Feedback on site access and traffic control.


• Feedback on unionized labor agreement.

The goal of this industry day is to:

1. Familiarize the industry with the requirements at Lowell Creek, Seward, Alaska.


2. Receive feedback from industry.

The Industry Day presentation will be held on Tuesday, June 24 2025, from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM (Alaska Time) at The Megan Room located at 6591 A Street -1st Floor, Anchorage, AK 99518. If requested, One-on-One consultation with the GOV will follow the presentation with contractors in attendance that wish to participate in these discussions. Items conversed will NOT BE made public. Limited time slots exist from 2:30PM - 3:30 PM .

Attendance at the industry day is voluntary and is not required to participate in the proposed acquisition. Contractors are required to secure their own lodging and rental cars for this event.
