Industrial Hygiene Related Support Services:
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessments.
- Indoor air quality (IAQ) investigations with potential for ambient air and emissions testing.
- Water damage and mould investigations.
- Sound level surveys and noise exposure assessments.
- Acoustic assessments.
- Illumination Surveys
- Baseline and routine industrial hygiene monitoring of workplace with potential chemical agents.
- Hazard Investigation.
- Development of various health and safety documentation

Provide assessments for confined spaces.
- Classify confined spaces into a three-space classification.
- Confined space hazard assessments.
- Confined space Inventory hazard assessment reports and entry procedure reports.
- Recommendations for required confined space entry training.
- Occupational health hazards identification, risk assessment, and exposure evaluation.
- Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Health and Safety Assessments and reports including results, findings, interpretation, and recommendations.
- Services related to awareness, training, seminars, reference materials and communiques.
- Recommendations for control methods.
Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP. The objective of this RFAP is to select the proponent with the highest total score. The SOA will be for a period of two (2) years with a maximum estimated value of $ 360,000. If mutually agreeable between the Consultant and DCC, the SOA may be extended for up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods and increased in the order of $180,000 for each additional period, at any time. Call-ups under the SOA are expected to be valued between $5,000 and $30,000. Refer to the RFAP document for additional information. This solicitation is being conducted in accordance with the requirements set out in the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chapter Nineteen of the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA). Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System. The selected consultant will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP) within Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFAP documents. Questions regarding this solicitation are to be directed ONLY to the point of contact identified in this advertisement. Proponents who address their questions to anyone other than the point of contact during the solicitation period may, for that reason alone, be disqualified.
