Description
Nebraska Public Power District (DISTRICT) intends to procure the scope of work provided under this Contract, for grit blasting, vacuuming, dust suppression, on-line deslagging, miscellaneous hydroblasting, and vac-u-blasting during the GGS Units 1 and 2 maintenance outages expected in 2026 and 2027. The work will be performed in the Unit 1 and Unit 2 Boilers, and associated ductwork and plant equipment. Individual outage work scopes will be determined on an outage-by-outage basis based on visual inspections and anticipated maintenance work to be performed in the boilers.

Pre-Bid Meeting Details
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for prospective Bidders will be held at 6089 South Highway 25, Sutherland, Nebraska, on April 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., CDT, for the purpose of reviewing the Contract specifications and to answer any questions or clarifications the Bidder may have concerning the Contract requirements. It is the Bidder’s responsibility, while participating in the pre-bid meeting, to ask any questions necessary to understand the requirements of the Contract so the Bidder can submit a bid that is complete and according to the specifications. It is highly encouraged that all prospective Bidders attend this meeting. If you plan to participate, email Sarah Hopwood at sjhopwo@nppd.com and Mindy Evans at maevans@nppd.com with the names of those representatives planning to participate in this pre-bid and the company they represent.
