Scope of Services
The intent of this bid is to secure firm fixed pricing to provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and supplies as required to remove and replace indoor bleacher system at Kissimmee Middle School. The performance of awarded Bidder shall be in accordance with the terms of the specifications and at the quality standards of service set forth herein.
A. DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL
1. Tear out existing Hussey seating bleachers and properly disposing of demolished materials off site in compliance with all federal, state, and local order and shall meet or exceed any existing standards; see Attachment H.
2. Awarded bidder is responsible for preventing damage to existing structures, gym flooring and surrounding areas.
B. NEW BLEACHER INSTALLATION
1. Awarded bidder shall provide and install new bleacher with the following minimum specifications:
• Net Seats: 542.
• Seat Type: Courtside 10”, manufacturer’s standard polymer options.
• Row Rise: 9 5/8”.
• Row Spacing: 24”.
• Tiers: 13.
• Bank Length: 75’ (77’ with end rails).
• Operation: Electric with pensant control.
• Power Supply: 120V, 1 phase, 60Hz.
• Limit switches for synthetic floor operation.
2. Finishes and customization:
• End Rails: Self-storing, BH, aisle rails with automatic rotating aisle rail. 983 black finishes.
• Decks: Plywood with clear coat top side only.
• Custom seating – Selected color: Black but open to consider other colors in customization.
• Incorporate a custom school logo into the bleacher design; see Attachment I. Final file to be provided to awarded bidder.
3. Accessories:
• Intermediate Steps.
• Flex row.
• Row letters and seat numbers.
• Hinged front aisle steps.

4. Acceptable Manufacturer:
• Irwin Seating Company, or approved equivalent meeting all specifications herein, with a minimum of 25 years of experience in manufacturing telescopic seating and current I.S.O 9001:2015 certification.
• Bidder(s) must submit documentation for approval including but not limited to manufacturer years of experience and I.S.O certification, Manufacturer Data Sheet (MTD), detailed product data and technical sheets (TDS) demonstrating compliance with specification.
C. QUALITY ASSURANCE
• All bleacher drawings must have a Florida PE Stamp.
• Any onsite welding must be performed by AWS-certified welder to AWS D1.1 Standards.
• Bleachers must comply with IBC and ICC 300 safety standards, ADA and local building requirements.
• Installation must be performed by manufacturer-certified installers.
• All electrical connections must be made by a licensed Florida electrician with permit/inspection.
• Awarded bidder must provide training and operation manuals upon completion.
D. PROJECT TIME FRAME
• Time is of essence, for this reason it is the School Board intention to have this completed by or before January 30, 2026. However, bidder(s) must submit a detailed schedule for this project with their Attachment D – Price Sheet if unable to meet this deadline.
