The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is requesting proposals from qualified organizations to prepare

the FY 2027- FY 2031 Indirect Cost Proposal in accordance with the U.S. Department of Education’s

Cost Allocation Guide for State and Local Governments, September 2019. The purpose of this project

is to ensure that TEA is utilizing a comprehensive indirect cost rate that captures all costs of

providing various services within Agency operations. It is TEA’s goal to have a well-documented and

defensible Indirect Cost Rate Proposal that will incorporate allowable direct and

indirect costs.
