RFB INDIGO HILL ROAD AND OLD ROCHESTER ROAD WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of Finance Director located at City Hall, One Government Way, Somersworth, NH 03878, until Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 at 2:00 PM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:
Work for this project includes the replacement of approximately 2,700 linear feet of water main on Indigo Hill Road with 8-inch ductile iron water main and approximately 1,950 linear feet of water main on Old Rochester Road with 16-inch ductile iron water main. Work also includes service line connections, hydrant assemblies, valves, appurtenances, and roadway restoration to include a permanent trench patch of the asphalt on Old Rochester Road and a temporary patch on Indigo Hill Road. A temporary water line will be required for Indigo Hill Road. There is an approximately 100 linear foot section of water main that crosses under a set of railroad tracks. This section of main will be lined via a company that specializes in water main lining. The water main replacement on Old Rochester Road will not require a temporary water line, and will include a culvert extension and headwall replacements.

In addition, the following street will be considered as a Bid Alternate to the project for cold planning and permanent pavement:
Bid Alternate A: Indigo Hill Road Final Paving.
Bid Deduct B: Indigo Hill Road Jacking.
