Bidders are hereby notified that this addendum shall be made a part of the above-named proposal and contract documents.
The following is issued to modify, and/or clarify the proposal and contract documents. These items shall have the same force and
effect as the original bid and contract documents, and bids to be submitted on the specified date shall conform with the additions,
deletions and revisions as listed herein.
ITEM # 1 PRE-BID MEETING CHANGE: Time and date have been changed to 1:00 P.M. on February 9, 2026.
ITEM # 2 QUESTIONS/ANSWERS
Q1: What are the specifications for the material to be placed in the Gabion Baskets?
A1: The governing standard specifications are the Florida Department of Transportation July 2020 Standard Specifications for Road
and Bridge Construction (Refer to the key sheet) as modified by the Contract Documents. The material specifications for Gabion
Rock is per Section 530-2.3.4 Gabion Rock:
Q2: Does a CBC(Florida builder contractor license) or FDOT Certification qualify for the local licensing requirements?
A2: Neither of these certifications would qualify. Registered/Certified General or Certified Marine will be the only accepted licenses.
Q3: What is the anticipated start date?
A3: There is no specific start date. Start date will be determined at the Pre-Construction meeting which will be scheduled with the
awarded bidder.
This addendum is binding and is to be considered as if contained within the original bid documents of Bid No. 20260211. Bidders are
required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum on their bid forms.
