2025 INDIAN RIVER LAGOON SEAGRASS MAPPING

The overall objectives of the 2025 Indian River Lagoon Seagrass Mapping (the “Project”) are for Consultant to: a) be responsible for all flight planning and mission management and acquire aerial imagery of the entire Indian River Lagoon (“IRL”) in digital format at an appropriate time in 2025; b) use the imagery to produce a complete map of seagrass that meets the specifications required by the District and supports valid comparisons with existing map products; c) use the imagery to produce a separate complete map of Caulerpa spp. that meets the specifications required by the District and supports valid comparisons with existing map products; d) deliver the maps, processed 2025 aerial imagery, and all files used in establishing orthorectification; and e) perform other key processes described in the Statement of Work (Attachment A).

Appropriate Geographic Information Systems (“GIS”) and photogrammetric software shall be used to ensure that all maps will be fully compatible with the data presently in the District's ArcGIS library.
