1. Sealed proposals will be received by Latimer, Sommers & Associates, P.A. 3639 SW Summerfield Drive, Suite A, Topeka, KS   66614 no later than 2:00 PM. A single proposal will be received for:

INDEPENDENCE MEMORIAL HALL BOILER REPLACEMENTS

1. Proposals will be opened and tabulated privately.   Proposals are to be submitted on forms bound into and part of this specification.  No proposal may be withdrawn or altered for at least 30 days after bid opening.

C. Contract Documents.  Drawings and specifications are available from the office of Latimer, Sommers and Associates, P.A.,            3639 SW Summerfield Drive, Suite A, Topeka, Kansas 66614.  All questions regarding the plans and specifications shall be directed to Andrew Hess, Phone (785) 233-3232, Fax (785) 233-0647.  A $50.00 refundable deposit for hard copy documents will be required, returned to all bidders not awarded the contract upon return of the documents.

D. Contractors shall visit the project site to familiarize themselves with the scope of work.  Please schedule all visits with DAVID COWAN (ASST. CITY MANAGER), 620.330.0056.

1. The Mechanical Contractor shall be the prime contractor and shall include any general and all other sub-contractor costs in their bid price as required for complete and operable systems as specified herein.
