Overview

Summary

The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking competitive quotes to procure a total of four (4) electromagnetic flow meters of various sizes for use in a wastewater treatment facility and with delivery to the Hill Canyon Treatment Plant (HCTP) (9600 Santa Rosa Road Camarillo, CA 93012). The flow meters are briefly described as: two (2) 4" screw press feed #1 and #2 flow meters, one (1) 20" north-to-south influent flow meter, and one (1) 36" filter effluent flow meter. The procurement of flow meters will replace existing flow meters that have reached their useful life. See Attachment A: In-Plant Meter Specifications for complete details.

Background

The City of Thousand Oaks is located in eastern Ventura County and consists of 56 square miles. The City population is approximately 122,000. The City is a general law city operating under the Council/Manager form of government. The City Council is comprised of five elected members through district-based elections, with one member serving as Mayor on an annual basis.

The City's Hill Canyon Treatment Plant (HCTP) is located at 9600 Santa Rosa Road, Camarillo, CA 93012. HCTP is a modern advanced tertiary treatment plant. HCTP is rated to treat up to 14 million gallons of wastewater per day.
