IN-1234 Leonard Hall Classroom Renovations

Project Description: Indiana University of PA, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites
Contractors to download bid documents for this project.
Work included under this Project consists of renovation work in Leonard Hall on the Campus us Indiana University of Pennsylvania. The renovations consist of construction of two large classrooms and the renovation of the corridor area adjacent to the classroom spaces to be located on the fourth floor of the building. Associated work included under this Project includes the construction of shaft and duct connections through the fifth floor and the construction of a new rooftop unit on the roof above.
Work for the Project shall be accomplished by Separate Prime Contractors according to
Pennsylvania statute. The Lead Prime Contractor shall be the General Construction Contractor. Specific instructions for coordination and responsibilities of the Lead Prime Contractor are contained in Section 0131000, Project Management and Coordination, and elsewhere throughout the Contract Documents.
A Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on January 5, 2025, at 11am, at the IUP’s Jane Leonard Hall, Room 407, 981 Grant Street, Indiana, PA 15705. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended.
Electronic Bids are due no later than 11:00 AM, EST on January 27, 2026, at 11am, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.
The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid.
Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online.
Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid. Bidders who have registered with and downloaded documents for this project from PennBid will be notified by email when a change or addenda has been posted.
PennBid provides bid privacy, security and supplier confidentiality, while streamlining the overall procurement process. Although all solicitations are available for public viewing, interested suppliers need to register to be able to submit a bid.
