Scope of Work:
Contractor shall demolish and haul off existing concrete, remove existing spray irrigation heads and replace with drip lines and new drip valves. Project includes installation of a new concrete bus drop-off area and sidewalks, decomposed granite (DG), 5-gallon shrubs, dry wells, and dry riverbed features, as drawn and specified.
Contractor’s Licensing
It is WCSD's opinion that the scope of work for this project qualifies under the following license classifications: General Engineering A; General Contracting licenses AB; or Specialty license C10 when the bidder is performing a majority of the work in accordance with NRS 338.139.
If a Contractor would like to seek clarification from the Nevada State Contractor’s Board, then they must do so ten (10) days prior to the bid due date. https://www.nvcontractorsboard.com/
Sealed bids for the Improvements to the Bus Drop Off Concrete at B.D. Billinghurst Middle School will be received by the Washoe County School District’s (WCSD) Purchasing Department located at the Brown Center 14101 Old Virginia Road, Room #0, Reno, NV 89521, until 2:00 p.m., (Local Time) on June 8, 2026. The bids will be opened publicly via a TEAMS Meeting at 2:30 pm (local time).

Due to access and coordination involved in this project we highly recommend that contractors walk the project site that we are making available.
