Implementation of Street Right of Way Stocking Plan RFP

LEGAL NOTICE:  RFP Released for the City of Dunkirk’s Street Tree Stocking Plan

The City of Dunkirk is seeking proposals to implement the City of Dunkirk Street Tree Stocking plan to plant (100) trees from an approved list of native species providing the tree stock, all planting and maintenance supplies, and the installation of the tree stock on specific sites chosen as per the City’s Tree Management Plan.  Funding for the project is from a NYS Dept of Environmental Conservation (DEC) Urban Community Forestry (UCF-4) grant over a two-year period to City of Dunkirk.  Tree Nursery Contractor is expected to have the (100) trees planted before the end of 2025, if weather conditions are appropriate.   The RFP can be found at https://www.cityofdunkirkny.gov/businesses/rfp_s/index.php .  Submission deadline is Friday, October 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM
