The University of Chicago (the "University"), the University of Chicago Medical Center ("UCMC"), Argonne National Laboratory ("ANL"), and Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory ("Fermi") (collectively referred to as the "Entities") are seeking requests for proposals from law firms for immigration law, specifically U.S. non-immigrant matters (mainly O-1, H-1B, L-1, and TN) and U.S. permanent residence matters. While the intent is to award to a single firm, the Entities each reserve the right to make multiple or no awards as deemed in their best interests and at their sole discretion. Furthermore, no award(s) rendered through this RFP process shall confer exclusive status to the firm(s) selected nor bind the Entities to any minimum purchase commitment.

The resultant engagement with the selected firm(s) will be for an initial one-year term with an option of up to four (4) one-year extension options based upon mutual agreement of the parties. Minority-owned, women-owned, HubZone, and Small Business firms are encouraged to apply. The selected firm(s) may be expected to enter into individual engagement letters or service agreements with the applicable participating Entities.
