Description:

The Town of Nantucket, through Town Administration, invited qualified bidders to submit Sealed Bids for the Construction of Water Main System Expansion West of Nantucket Airport Project. The project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of new 8-inch and 12-inch water mains and appurtenances within Lover’s Lane, Okorwaw Avenue, Monohansett Road, Webster Road, Skyline Drive, and Nobadeer Way in Nantucket, MA, including installing new water service connections, fittings, valves, hydrants, connections to the existing water system, pressure testing and chlorination, road and right of way restoration, furnishing and installing drainage basins, miscellaneous work and cleanup, and all work required. Note, the Town of Nantucket will be furnishing water main materials for this Project.

Contract Documents are available for examination electronically at no cost by registering on the Town website. Proposers must register on the Town's website in order to ensure receipt of any changes or addenda to the Contract Documents

Applications will be accepted until 2PM on Jun 29, 2023, The Town of Nantucket reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Select Board must approve this contract.

The work under this Contract is funded in part by the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust through the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF) program.

The Town has separately procured many of the materials required for this project and this material will be stored on the island.
