Project Description: The City of South Jordan is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to furnish and install colored exposed aggregate concrete work in the Towne Center Plaza. All work shall be completed between July 1, 2026 and July 30, 2026.
The work must be substantially complete 30 days from Notice to Proceed. Anticipated day of Notice to Proceed is July 1, 2026. See bid documents for additional details.
Base Bid Schedule A: The project consists mainly on the construction of exposed aggregate concrete at Towne Center Drive, approximately 1600 West, South Jordan, but it is not limited to, installation of truncated dome panels for ADA accessible ramps, landscape curbing (tree wells); furnish and installation of bollards. Coordination with South Jordan City Staff will be essential for a successful project as City staff will be responsible for site preparation and furnish and installation of untreated base course.
Alternative Bid Schedule B: The work for this schedule is located at the same location as Schedule A, Towne Center Drive, and consists on the furnish and installation of curb and gutter, but it is not limited to, removal of curb and gutter sections as identified in the plans.
The City will award the project to the low bidder of Base Bid Schedule A. Alternative Bid Schedule B will be awarded only if there is available budget.
Contractors need to examine the RFB carefully to become thoroughly familiar with all conditions and requirements that may affect the work to be performed under the contract. Contractors are expected to follow all local, city, state, and federal standards, codes, and specifications.
Contractors shall review the RFB in order to provide a bid. The City will review the low bid to make sure it reflects market prices.
Complete and submit all needed information and documents required in the RFB documents.
Bids will be received until the closing date and time listed on Bonfire, the State of Utah’s Procurement website. All bids shall be submitted online at Bonfire. It is the sole responsibility of the BIDDER to submit the Bid before the scheduled time. The City reserves the right to reject any Bid if the City believes that it would not be in the best interest of the project or the City. Without limitation, such rejection may be because the Bid is not responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful ability or the Bid or Bidder fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the City, as solely determined by City.
