    Addendum No. 2
    IFB No. 26-27-TO
    Pump Station 33 Maintenance Improvements
    February 13, 2026
This Addendum is issued in accordance with the IFB Terms & Conditions and is intended to provide
additional information and clarification to Respondents.
This Addendum consists of two (2) items which are listed below and is an integral part of the IFB to which
it is attached, and is incorporated therein and made part thereof by this reference.
Item 1 – Questions and Answers
    1. Please confirm the existing grade/top of slab around building is approximately El. 202.
ANSWER: The existing grade/top of the slab associated with both buildings is approximately
elevation 203. Elevations provided are approximate and bidders are responsible for verifying field
    conditions prior to bid.
    2. What is the elevation of the bottom of the wet well?
ANSWER: The bottom of the wet well was not directly surveyed, but the measured aspects of
the construction are highly consistent with the design documents. The design documents indicate
a bottom of wet well to be 175.27, or approximately 27.7 feet deep relative to the top of slab.
Bidders shall rely on the contract documents and perform their own due diligence regarding
    depths and field conditions.
    3. Please provide more details regarding the existing buildings construction. Specifically, for the
buildings to be relocated and the one to have its roof removed/replaced.
ANSWER: The building to be relocated is a Smith Midland precast concrete structure that has
construction typical to such structures in 2002. The walls are held to the slab with metal anchor
angles as well as bonding adhesive, as is the walls to each other, as well as the roof to the walls.
While there have been small alterations to the Smith Midland buildings over the years, the
principles of construction remain similar today to what exists at this location.
    4. Will the County remove any chemicals from the tanks prior to demolition? If no, please provide
type of chemicals and approximate quantity remaining.
ANSWER: The tanks have been emptied. There still may be residual Bioxide chemical inside
the tanks. Any residual chemical shall be disposed of in accordance with applicable
    environmental regulations and facility requirements.

    5. Please provide more information and details regarding the ABBA pump that is shown on Sheet 8
to be on the dry well floor.
ANSWER: Additional information on the ABBA pump and associated installation can be
obtained from the Pump Supplier. In this case, the ABBA Authorized Supplier is Sealing
Maintenance and Products. See Attachment A - ABBA Parts SMP Quick Reference Guide for
your reference. This reference is provided for informational purposes only.
    6. Notes 26 and 27 call for a Bubbler Pump and a Muffin Monster Hydraulic Pump and Control
Panel. Please provide specs and detail on this equipment.
ANSWER: The bubbler pump and Muffin Monster hydraulic pump as well as the associated
controls for both existing and active systems within the house is being removed/relocated. The
contract does not require purchase/replacement of either feature. The contract requires the
existing control panel be appropriately located/affixed to a permanent base and that each of these
features is protected from the elements within a fiberglass enclosure as described in the plans.
    7. Is there a set of specifications for the job or just notes on the plans?
ANSWER: See Attachment K – Technical Specifications. If there are any specific items not
already covered in the published specifications or sufficiently controlled/detailed in the
construction documents, please respond with a follow-up question so these items can be clarified.
    8. Does the Engineer have a concept for moving the existing brick and concrete building?
ANSWER: There is no information related to the relocation of the existing building in the
construction documents. The Owner intends to move the building from the existing location to a
previously prepared slab within the site in accordance with the bid documents. The intent is to
utilize the existing walls, roof, and door systems, have unused openings appropriately
parged/filled, re-use the existing metal anchor angles if in good condition, and have all new
hardware/bolts/washers used in the reinstallation. The Contractor shall be responsible for all
means and methods associated with relocation of the structure and for ensuring the structural
integrity of the building during and after relocation. A relocation plan shall be submitted for
review prior to execution of the work. If there is a specific question related to this relocation
beyond this clarification, please respond with a follow-up question so these items can be further
    clarified.
    9. Can the tanks in the odor control building be cut up and removed through the door? If so, can the
    building remain in place?
ANSWER: Yes, the fiberglass tanks may be cut up to allow for easy removal. The
odor control building may remain in place if the equipment is removed through the door.
