IFB # 2342-02 Site Beautification ? Elders Garden at Franklin Field - Phase 2

The Boston Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for BHA Project #
2342‐02, EOHLC FISH# 035480 – Site Beautification – Elders Garden at Franklin Field Phase 2, Boston, Massachusetts for the Boston Housing Authority in Boston, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by CBA Landscape Architects LLC.

The Project consists of: Removal of brush, pruning of existing trees, installation of new fencing, concrete paving, stonedust paving, raised planters, site furnishings, water utilities, electric utilities, site lighting, signage, and planting of trees and shrubs.

The work is estimated to cost $423,993.63 (including the work covered by all Add Alternates).

Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.30 §39M & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive. The project is subject to Federal Davis Bacon and State prevailing wage requirements and reporting. Bidders should assume the higher of Federal Davis Bacon or State Prevailing wages. All general and filed sub-bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.

General Bids will be received until 11:00 AM, Wednesday, July 9, 2025 and publicly opened, forthwith via Zoom: https://tinyurl.com/2342-02bid

All Bids should be delivered to: Boston Housing Authority, Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, Boston, MA, 02111 and received no later than the date & time specified above. If bidders are to hand deliver bids, there is a Proposals/Bids Drop-Off Box located in the 52 Chauncy Street foyer.

General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Boston Housing Authority.

The job site will be available for inspection at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, meeting at 91 Ames Street, Dorchester, MA 02124. (The job site is adjacent to 60 Westview Street; the meeting will progress there after gathering at the Property Management office at 91 Ames Street).
