IFB 2026-077 RIVERFRONT SKATEPARK FENCING

City of Lynchburg -Lynchburg, VA; Any and all Addenda will only be posted to the City of Lynchburg website.

The City of Lynchburg is seeking contractors to furnish and install two areas of steel pedestrian fencing along the railroad tracks across from the downtown Skatepark and up to area incorporating the front of Depot Grille in downtown Lynchburg. Fencing will be constructed and installed according to the specifications and drawings attached to the bid documents. Contractor will be responsible for directing traffic flow during the install including a partial closure of the parking area if deemed necessary. Railings will be finished according to specifications. Work is taking place within close proximity to active railroad tracks which will require coordination with Norfolk Southern Rail along with compliance with Railroad insurance requirements defined more specifically below. The timeframe for fabrication and installation will be 90 days from award of contract by The City of Lynchburg, $100.00/day penalty if not completed in the timeframe allowed.
