Replacement of HVAC Equipment at Christiansburg Aquatic Center
Advertisement for Bids
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Replacement of HVAC Equipment at Christiansburg Aquatic Center will be received, by the Town of Christiansburg at the office of the Procurement Officer at 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073, until 3:00pm local time on May 23, 2025, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center facility consists of installation of 4 pool dehumidification air handling units, its associated distribution, and all work associated with other trades as detailed in the contract documents issued as part of Bid documents. Refer to Exhibit A scope of services for detailed scope involved in the project. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM-4:30 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents at:

Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained upon a non-refundable payment of $200 for each 22 x 34 set, $100 for each 11 x 17 set, or downloaded free of charge.
If bids are hand delivered or mailed
, they must be delivered to the Town of Christiansburg Purchasing Office, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. It is the bidder’s responsibility to confirm that all bids are received by the Town’s Procurement Officer prior to the time stated above. Sealed bids should be returned in a sealed envelope clearly marked, “Bid Response for IFB 255000019, 2025 CAC HVAC Replacement” and addressed to Tara Vance, Procurement Officer. The bidder’s name should be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 PM local time on April 24, 2025 at the Christiansburg Town Hall, Town Council Chambers, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg, VA 24073. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory. Pre-Bid RFI’s following the pre-bid meeting are due by 5:00 p.m. EST on May 05, 2025. The Town’s responses to RFI’s shall be posted by 5:00 p.m. EST on May 9, 2025.
