The City of New Bedford, Purchasing Department, in conjunction with New Bedford Public Schools, is soliciting sealed bids for the Campbell Elementary Ceilings and Lighting located at 145 Essex Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts 02745. The work of this contract will require a DCAMM Prime General Contractor certified in Electrical. This work will also require DCAMM Filed Sub-Bidders certified in Acoustical Tile Ceilings. The bid process and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. The estimated budget for this project is $500,000.00 and the estimated substantial completion date is August 28, 2025. Contract documents may be obtained and/or examined electronically by visiting www.bidnetdirect.com on or after Monday, March 10, 2025. A non-mandatory site visit will be conducted for the benefit of all potential bidders on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, 10:00 AM at 145 Essex Street, New Bedford, MA 02740.
