IFB PW25-4

The scope of work for the Cal Poly Humboldt Aquatic Center Deck Rehabilitation Project includes the selective demolition and reconstruction of deteriorated structural components on the north and east exterior balconies. Work involves removing and replacing damaged glulam beams, joists, plywood decking, soffits, and steel guardrails, while retaining and reinforcing existing elements where feasible. New structural framing includes pressure-treated sheathing, concrete topping slabs, and upgraded ledger and hanger connections. The project includes installation of new fiber cement soffit cladding, waterproofing systems, and code-compliant steel picket guardrails. All work is to comply with current California Building Code standards.
