Project Duration: 310 Days
Huntsville Utilities is seeking bids for the above-mentioned project located in Huntsville, Alabama. Sealed bids will
be received by the City of Huntsville, a municipal corporation within the State of Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities,
by mail, at P.O. Box 2048, Huntsville, AL, 35804, or personal delivery, at the location mentioned above. Bidder
instructions, including pre-bid meeting and contractor questionnaire details, are provided in the bid documents. The
contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and transportation necessary to
perform the work called for under this contract in a timely, safe, and professional manner. All questions and requests
for this bid packet should be emailed to the Contract Administrator signed below. As part of the bidding process,
attendance at the pre-bid meeting is considered mandatory.
Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed prior to the bid opening by the State of
Alabama. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an
amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $10,000.00, will be required to
accompany each contractor's bid. A performance bond, a payment bond, a maintenance bond, and insurance will
be required prior to execution of the contract. Liquidated Damages are a part of all construction projects. No bid may
be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days.
The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
