The Somerville Housing Authority and the Board of Commissioners, the Awarding Authority, invite sealed bids from Contractors for On-Call HVAC Services for multiple locations located in Somerville, Massachusetts, in accordance with IFB P-HVAC102026 documents prepared by the Somerville Housing Authority Purchasing Department.

The Project consists of: Providing all labor, materials, equipment, routine, and emergency maintenance services necessary for miscellaneous HVAC services at various properties on an as needed basis. Term is for 1 year with Two 1-Year options The authority reserves the right at its sole option to renew for two additional one-year contract period after the first year term.

The work is estimated to cost approximately $65,000.00 during a one-year contract period or $195,000.00 if all options are taken.

These specifications are in anticipation of funding. All contracts are voided if funds are not available. This IFB is subject to the provisions of M.G.L. c.30B sec.5. and to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968.

Bids are subject to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26 to 27H inclusive and federal wage rates established by the Davis Bacon Wage Act and the Secretary of Labor, under the provisions of the Code of Federal Regulations, as amended and OSHA Certifications.

Genera General Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m., October 23, 2026, and publicly opened forthwith, at Somerville Housing Authority, Administration Building, located at 30 Memorial Road, Somerville, MA 02145
