INVITATION FOR BIDS (IFB) No. 025-009

NEW LOCOMOTIVE AIR COMPRESSORS

The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to establish a Contract with one (1) qualified and experienced Contractor to provide new air compressors for VRE’s fleet of MP36PH-3C locomotives.

Bids will be considered from qualified and experienced companies who are regularly established in the business of providing new locomotive air compressors and in the judgment of VRE are financially responsible. Through prior work performed, Bidders must be able to show evidence of reliability, ability, and experience to perform the work.

Please be advised that it is your responsibility to monitor this site for any addenda.  Failure to submit signed addenda may be grounds to declare your Bid non-responsive.  If there is a question about the closing date, the date printed on the IFB is the most current.

Bids are due March 26, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time.
