IFB # 2058-02 Mechanical Ventilation of Units and Window Replacement at Rockland & Roslyn Development

The Boston Housing Authority (BHA) invites sealed bids for Mechanical Ventilation of Units and Window Replacement at Rockland & Roslyn Developments, BHA Job # 2058-02, prepared by Winslow Architects, Inc. The total construction cost is estimated at $6,139,683. Bids will be received and publicly opened at the BHA's Procurement Department, 52 Chauncy Street, 6th floor, Boston, MA, 02111. If bidders are to hand-deliver bids, please drop off bids at the Bids/Proposals Drop-Off Box in the lobby of 56 Chauncy Street.

Bids not received by the following times will be rejected:

Filed sub-bid applies to 1) Metal Windows estimated $104,500; 2) Painting estimated $89,364; 3) HVAC estimated $611,683; and 4) Electrical estimated $138,300.

The general bid must be DCAMM certified in General Building Construction, and include a 5% bid deposit. The successful general bidder must furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. All bids are subject to MGL c. 149, Sections 44A-J.

Wages are subject to minimum wage rates set by the US Department of Labor. All general and filed sub-bidders must follow the BHA's Minority and Women Participation Provision and Resident Employment Provision.
