The purpose of this solicitation for JEA Vehicle
and Equipment Rental (this "Solicitation") is to evaluate and select
a supplier(s) to provide rental needs for light, medium, and heavy duty
vehicles and equipment as described in this Solicitation (the "Work")
and to determine the best method for JEA to procure the Work with regard to
pricing, quality, and workmanship.

JEA has grouped the vehicles and
equipment in the Appendix B – Response Workbook into six (6) rental categories,
as identified below:

1: Transportation Equipment

• Group
2: Utility Equipment

• Group
3: Material Handling Equipment

• Group
4: Construction Equipment

• Group
5: Other Equipment

• Group
6: NGS (Northside Generating Station)

A more detailed description of the Work is
provided in the Technical Specifications included as an Exhibit to this
Solicitation.
