Overview

Summary

The City of Richmond, Virginia (the “City”), on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities (“DPU”) seeks bids from qualified firms for general contracting services related to the maintenance and repair of gas facilities (the “Project”).

Background

On an annual basis, approximately 2,400 gas leaks are expected to be repaired and about 400 gas services will need to be renewed across the Project service area. The service area includes gas mains and services within the City of Richmond, Henrico, Hanover, Chesterfield, and Goochland County.
