Open BACnet Building Automation System
Provide, install, and configure a BACnet Building Automation System.
Includes all graphics and licenses necessary to monitor and control DDC equipment.
BMS will be accessible via internet browser on any customer provided web accessible
device. Provide on in the follow equipment:
1. Single Zone DX Split Systems (Quantity = 17)
Provide, install, and wire new BACnet DDC controllers for monitoring and
controlling existing mechanical equipment:
a. 2-stages of DX cooling
b. 2-stages of electric reheat
c. Supply fan start/stop and status monitoring
d. Discharge air temperature sensors
e. Space temperature sensors
f. Outside air damper actuators
2. Zone Damper Air Handling Unit (Quantity = 1)
Provide, install, and wire a new BACnet DDC controller for monitoring and control
of existing mechanical equipment:
a. 2-stages of DX cooling
b. 2-stages of electric reheat
c. Modulating bypass damper (Zone damper # 9)
d. Duct static pressure sensor
e. Supply fan start/stop and status monitoring
f. Discharge air temperature sensors
g. Space temperature sensors
h. Outside air damper actuators
3. Zone Dampers (Quantity = 8)
Provide, install, and wire new BACnet DDC controllers for monitoring and control
of existing mechanical equipment as well as the following control devices:
a. Space temperature sensor
b. Discharge air temperature sensors
c. 2 stage electric heat control
d. Damper actuators

4. Exhaust Fans (Quantity = 25)
Monitor start/stop and status of exhaust fans and interlock with respective air
handling units where applicable.
5. Unit Heaters (Quantity = 6)
Enable and disable through BMS and monitor space temperature of respective
mechanical rooms.
Notes:
1. All wire will be in plenum rated cable in concealed but accessible locations and in
conduit where exposed. Existing raceways and control wiring will be reused
where possible.
2. Existing control devices such as actuators, temperature sensors, motor starters,
will be reused. The only intended hardware replacement will be controllers and
thermostats where necessary.
3. The BMS software will reside on the customers network and be accessible via a
web-page interface. The City of Shreveport will provide support from its IT
Division to assign IP addresses and establish remote connectivity for end users.
4. Contractor shall provide all required Bonds.
5. No fire alarm system devices are part of the scope.
6. No access control and security systems are part of the scope.
7. Contractor shall provide one (1) year warranty on all parts and labor.
